DCCB: Daimler Chrysler Commercial Bus
Blue Water Area Transit operates four Daimler Chrysler Commercial Buses SLF 200 buses. These buses were purchased by Blue Water Transit in March of 2005 to replace 12 year old diesel powered buses. The buses are 30 foot low floor models which aid the passengers in the boarding and exiting of the vehicle.

These buses were constructed by Daimler Chrysler Commercial Buses of Greensboro, North Carolina. These buses ride on an air bag suspension with the ability to kneel the bus to 7 inches above the ground. A wheel chair ramp can deploy to allow easy access of wheel chairs and the mobility impaired.

Goshen
Blue Water Area Transit operates a fleet of 8 Goshen Coach CG II Para-transit buses. These are a body on chassis style construction with a Ford E-450 van chassis serving as the base vehicle. The bus was constructed in Elkhart, Indiana in 2004 and began serving the Blue Water Area in May of 2004. All eight buses are equipped with wheel chair lifts and climate control. These were the first of Blue Water buses to be equipped with AM/FM CD players as standard equipment for the public's enjoyment.

Neoplan
Blue Water Area Transit operates two Neoplan CitiLiner buses. These buses were purchased by Blue Water Transit in August of 2002 to serve the transportation needs of the YMCA of the Blue Water Area. The buses are used to move YMCA program participants to the varied activities the YMCA sponsors.

These buses were constructed by Neoplan USA of Lamar Colorado. These buses are 45 feet long and 102" wide making them a very spacious coach. Specialized air suspension construction gives this bus a superb ride.

Orion II
The bulk of the Blue Water Area Transit fleet is made up of the 26 foot Orion II low floor bus. Made by Orion Bus Industries of Oriskany, New York, Blue Water has model years ranging from 1994 to 2002 in both Compressed Natural Gas and diesel powered versions.

These buses ride on an air bag suspension with the ability to kneel the bus to 7 inches above the ground. The air bags in this configuration give this bus a pronounced lean when going around corners, but the passengers seem to have no awareness of this. A wheel chair ramp can deploy to allow easy access of wheel chairs and the mobility impaired.
